Our wish list

Help us to help ill or injured native birds on Waiheke Island by donating goods or services.

We are always looking for new supplies and equipment.

Items needed

Anything you can help with from our Wish List will make a big difference to Native Bird Rescue and our native birds:

• Large cages
• Towells
• Aviaries (preferably flat packed) –portable aviaries and fixed location aviaries
• 100 pecent cotton flat sheets and 100 percent cotton pillowcases
• Credit with food suppliers (eg Biosupplies)

We are also extremely appreciative of items we can give away to our volunteers or auction at fundraising events e.g. books, movie tickets, event tickets, hotel or resort stays, spa treatments or passes to attractions.

With some items e.g. aviaries, cages and towells we are happy to take used items as well as new. However, all used items must be of good quality and very clean to be able to use them for the birds in our care. Used towels must also have no loose threads as the birds can get caught in them.
