Building flight aviaries

Flight aviaries help birds to build their flight fitness up to the level needed for survival in the wild, while still protected. They allow them to gradually change to their wild diet as food supplements are reduced. They also allow them to interact with other birds in the aviary as they would in the wild. Pricing for aviaries varies immensely depending on their size. Average costs for smaller flight aviaries range from $2,500 – $10,000 and a major raptor aviary would cost around $40,000.
